Hi everyone! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted, I’ve just gotten so busy. I’m coming up with a game plan to post more often, and plan on following a more structured approach to my posts. I’m going to start regularly posting a Monday musing update (similar to the one you’re reading now) at the beginning of the week, theatre news from around the world on Wednesdays, the best things I’ve read during the week on Sundays, as well as great performances, reviews of the shows I see, and different goodies throughout the week.
Speaking of structure, last week I started a new fitness program created by Cassey Ho of Blogilates. She does these awesome Pilates videos and meal plans, and is an all around positive and inspirational person, so I figured her plan might be the kick in the pants I need to get on track. I’ve been doing OK, but am hoping to do better over the next several weeks, particularly in the “actually working out” department. Having a plan is infinitely better than sitting on the couch eating cheez-its, but actually sticking to the plan is 90% of the struggle. It’s a marathon, not a sprint y’all. (Since I don’t run, that statement is completely metaphorical).
Otherwise, I’m doing alright. It’s sort of been the kind of week that requires gospel music during my commute and chocolate after work. But I’ve landed some nice coverage for our clients and the holidays are right around the corner. Our Christmas lights are already up, just waiting to be turned on. I’m so excited this year that I’ve already started drinking egg nog and playing my holiday spotify playlist. I love both Thanksgiving and Christmas, and can’t wait to try some new recipes with my newly vegan mama! Family and food, what’s better than that?
